Pax Studio guide
How to use Pax Studio
Pax Studio is a camera in your browser. Take a photo or pick one, add Pax, and save a picture for your story or your feed.
- Nothing is uploaded
- No app to install
Five steps
From photo to story
Each step is a tap or two. Until you press the tick, you can change anything.
- 01
Start with a photo
Open the camera and tap the round button. Or choose a photo you already have from your gallery.
If your device has two cameras, the button beside the shutter switches between them. - 02
Add Pax and his stickers
Tap a sticker in the tray to add it. Drag it into place, pinch to resize it and twist two fingers to turn it.
Tap a sticker on the photo to pick it up. The bin at the top removes it. - 03
Pick a frame and a look
A frame goes around your photo. A look changes the photo's colours and leaves the stickers as they are.
Some browsers can't show looks. Frames and stickers still work there. - 04
Choose story or post
Story is tall and fills a phone screen. Post is a little shorter and fits a feed.
Stickers standing on the bottom edge stay there when you switch. - 05
Save it, then share it
Press the tick to make the picture. Save keeps it on your device. On a phone, Share sends it straight to an app.
If you post it, tag @xegora and use #xegora.
Sharing, following and commenting are up to you. They're never required, and they never earn anything.
Tips
Make it look good
Leave Pax some room
Keep one side of your photo clear. Pax stands on the bottom edge, so give him space there.
Face the light
Stand facing a window or a lamp. With the light behind you, your face comes out dark.
Snap Pax to the edge
Drag him close to the bottom edge and let go. He stays standing there, even while you resize him.
Choose the format first
Pick story or post before you arrange things. The photo is cropped to fit each shape.
Stack a few stickers
Add the same sticker twice if you like. The one you touched last sits on top.
On a computer
Click a sticker to pick it up, then use the keys. Scroll to resize it, or hold Shift and scroll to turn it.

Privacy
Your photo stays on your device
The studio makes your picture inside your browser. Nothing is uploaded to Xegora, and the picture leaves your device only when you save or share it.
- If you claim a reward, we get only the names of the stickers, frame and look you used, the format and an id for the picture. Never the photo.
- While you sign in to claim, the picture waits in this browser for up to a day. Signing out removes it.
No. Anyone can make and save a picture. You only sign in to claim a reward, and only while one is running.
No. The studio works inside your browser. Your photo leaves your device only if you save it or share it yourself.
Allow the camera for this site in your browser's settings, then try again. Inside another app's browser it may not work at all, so choose a photo from your gallery instead.
Pinch with two fingers to resize it and twist them to turn it. On a computer, scroll to resize, or hold Shift and scroll to turn.
It downloads as a JPEG named after the date and time. On an iPhone, tap Share and then Save Image to put it in Photos.
